Continuous Enrollment

CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT

Providence Classical Academy follows a Continuous Enrollment model. Once your children enroll, they are continuously enrolled until graduation or until you choose to withdraw.

To review our Frequently Asked Questions regarding Continuous Enrollment, please see below.

  • What is Continuous Enrollment?
    • Continuous Enrollment is a simpler approach to re-enrollment.
    • Close to 90% of our students were having to complete unnecessary paperwork each year just to tell us they were planning to come back.
    • Rather than opting-in each year, we'll assume you are returning until you graduate.
    • If you would like to withdraw, simply complete the withdrawal process by January 31st for the following school year.
  • What is the withdrawal process?

If you do not wish to be re-enrolled for the coming school year, please email admissions@pcabossier.org to request a Termination Form. If the completed form is received by the Director of Admissions by January 31st, no registration fees or tuition will be charged for the coming school year.

  • What if something happens and I need to withdraw after the deadline?

PCA has to prepare a budget and make commitments to teachers each year based on enrollment numbers, so generally tuition obligations become final on January 31st. However, we do understand that sometimes situations occur that are beyond a family's control.

That's why we offer contract cancellations in three situations:

    • The family is required by a third-party employer to move more than 50 miles from the PCA campus
    • The family's primary wage earner is terminated by a third-party employer
    • The death of the student, parent, or sibling
  • How will I know what tuition will be next year?

Tuition rates are determined in December and posted in January for the following year.

Everyone participating in continuous enrollment will get a discounted registration fee each year.

  • I am currently receiving Financial Aid. How does that fall into the Continuous Enrollment timeline?
    • Financial Aid applications for the next school year will be available December 1st.
    • Families who complete a preliminary application by December 31st will receive a tentative award offer by January 15th.
    • Applications must be finalized by April 30th by submitting the most recent income tax documentation. If after finalizing the application the family no longer qualifies for aid, they will be allowed to withdraw penalty-free within two weeks of receiving notice of award cancellation/amendment.
  • Is there a penalty if I withdraw and then decide to enroll later?

Families who withdraw and later re-enroll must follow the procedure for new applicants, which includes payment of the application fee and full registration fees.

  • I am enrolling a new sibling of a current student. What do I need to do?
    • Enrolling a sibling of a current student follows the same procedure as enrolling a new student.
    • Log in to your FACTS Family Portal account and select "Apply/Enroll" to start a new application.
  • My child is enrolled in After Care. How does that affect Continuous Enrollment?

Because a family's need for this program may vary each year, enrollment in After Care will continue to be a separate process.

  • I have a question which has not been answered. Whom do I contact?
